My sources in China are telling me China Unicom (CHU) laid off almost half of its iPhone support center staff. This indicates that iPhone sale sis slower than expected in China. The support center went online on Oct. 21, 2009. The possible reasons for the slow sales are: handset pricing, no wi-fi or video.
